Welcome to issue #19 of Sonic Postcards!

Orion Sun leads off this week’s playlist with her latest release, “dirty dancer.” The track slowly unwinds a story about the painful doldrums of waiting on love and feelings of inadequacy. When you feel strongly about someone and you don’t know if those feelings are felt back, moving through the day can feel like endless bouts of waiting punctuated by the random stuff you have to get done. The track captures the feeling well, both through the instrumentation and the lyrics.
