We are heading up to Auburn this weekend for the first running race of the season. In spite of that excitement, I have found myself listening to stuff that would not be tagged as your classical pump up music. Country and Americana have been the name of the game this week.
Closing out this week’s playlist with Waxahatchee might be trying to fit a square peg, but I have been listening to her new album Tigers Blood too much to not close with the album closer and title track. I feel pretty confident that it will remain one of my favorite albums of the year.
