There are few better ways to form a whole bunch of new core memories than doing a long biking or running race. Between the race itself, the support of crew and pacers, and the community around the race there is no shortage of great vibes.
In addition to the support of my wonderful crew (thanks again!), music pulled me through. One of the best parts of doing this music newsletter is that a lot of music I can pull from for long drives, cooking, you name it. At the end of the race I threw on the “Sonic Postcards - All the Issues” (38 hours of music!) playlist on shuffle and let it do its magic.
