Issue #130
Feat. tracks from Wet, Yves Jarvis, Arcy Drive, Susto, Holler Choir, Susto Stringband, Bonny Light Horseman, Eric D. Johnson, Josh Kaufman, Anaïs Mitchell, and Patterson Hood, Waxahatchee
I have not gotten a chance to listen to it in full yet, but Patterson Hood has a new album out and I am deeply excited to get lost in its stories this weekend. The one track off of it I have heard, “The Forks of Cypress” features Waxahatchee and plays great.
Another favorite this week has been a re-release of “Friends, Lovers, Ex-Lovers: Whatever” from Susto ahead of a new album release on March 28. I had not thought about these guys in a minute but it brings back fond memories of when we saw them at Lost Lake Lounge in Denver.
Happy listening, enjoy the weekend.
Looking for new music? Love art? Every week I create a short, five track playlist of the songs I am feeling at the moment along with a beautiful, found postcard. It’s a spark of joy for your eyes and ears.
