It has been an unbelievably good summer for indie rock, especially from the UK. Iceage, Man/Woman/Chainsaw, and Westside Cowboy have topped the list.
Capping this off and crossing off a bucket list item was getting to see the Strokes live this week. The Strokes were a gateway into music obsession for me. I first heard them in a skate video and then they became a staple in my music rotation during my summer job mowing lawns over the years.
