Welcome to Issue #39 of Sonic Postcards!

The standout for me this week is "Nothing" from Gladie. It comes off of their new release, Don't Know What You're In Until You're Out. The tracks reminds me of The Disitillers and feels like it would have been right at home on one of the Tony Hawk soundtracks.

Phoebe Bridgers already broke a small corner of the internet last week with her Chistmas covers, but I wanted to include her cover of "So Much Wine" here anyways.

Originally recorded by The Handsome Family, the song has since been shaped into a collection amazing covers from Katy Kirby, Andrew Bird, and now Phoebe Bridgers. We were lucky enough to see Kirby perform her rendition live at the Gundlach Bundschu winery in Sonoma at sunset last year. Talk about a peak experience!
