Welcome to Issue #75 of Sonic Postcards!

This week’s issue kicks off with “Break Well” from Mount Kimbie. The track is a slow burn that crescendos into an awesome and rolling collage of drums, bass, and synths. While it doesn’t sound a lot like it, the build and placement on the album reminds me a lot of Phoenix’s “Love Like a Sunset.”

Switching gears to TV, I have been watching Tour de France: Unchained this week on Netflix and would highly recommend it. Similarly, to The Last Dance, you don’t need to like cycling to appreciate it.
