Looking for new music? Love art? Every week I create a short, five track playlist of the songs I am feeling at the moment along with a beautiful, found postcard. It’s a spark of joy for your eyes and ears.
This week’s playlist is largely “indie rock”. Many of the tracks that have been showing up on my Hype Machine feed have been reminiscent of bands like Okkervil River and Sunset Rubdown circa the late 2000s. It honestly is not a sound I love in my day to day anymore, but this week the style landed for me.
